The environmental graphics in this Data Sciences Building were designed to reflect the dynamic nature of data science and innovation, using abstract visual language to convey progress, collaboration, and growth while subtly guiding users through the space. Through linear graphics, layered compositions, and directional movement reminiscent of data streams and networks, the design evokes the complexity of the tech world students are entering—sparking curiosity without distraction. Tone-on-tone patterns create a calm, sophisticated atmosphere, while selective color highlights support intuitive wayfinding. In the atrium, intersecting circular forms and an expanded color palette symbolize convergence and the energy of interdisciplinary collaboration.
